I have an ring that looked to be silver or white gold but the color is changing around the band. ?
I took it to a jewelry store to get it dipped but they said it was a copper ring covered in silver. It's an old ring that was given to me as an engagement ring. What can be done to get the silver color back?
You'd need to get it re-coated in silver by electroplating.
I believe certain jewelers can do this for you fairly cheaply.
